14 months and POTTY TRAINED!!!!!

Okay, so not QUITE potty trained yet, but he did go in the potty tonight!!! For those of you who have indoor dogs, you know when you get home and the dog is SOOOOO excited to see you, he sort of tee tee's all over the place. Well, I started running the bath tonight for Noah. He was in the other room and heard it, so he took off running for the bathroom. I quickly stripped him and took his diaper off and turned to check the water. Well, when I turned around, Noah had gotten so "excited" about the bath, that he started to tinkly all over the place. I immediately picked him up and "aimed" him towards the toilet. He had alot to drink tonight so he kept going and going and going. When he was finished, he looked up at me, and started to laugh histerically. I was already laughing so hard I couldnt breathe, but when he did that, I had to put him down. It's almost as if he knew! I know better.
Well, we are leaving for Georgetown tomorrow evening. We are playing a tourney there this weekend. We played UNC-Greensboro last night in the creek, and MAN was it hot. Poor Noah was all sweaty, the trainer was so sweet and gave him his own water bottle. We lost in 3, but played tough. They were a pretty strong team. Hopefully we'll do better this weekend. Okay, I really need to go pack. More when we return!

Volleyball sisters!

The top picture is of Nicole McRay, the head volleyball coach at Georgia Southern University. She LOVES Noah. She asked if she could get him out and play with him. The 2nd picture is of Noah and some of the Florida girls last September. The one holding Noah is Nicole's sister, Amber. She also was very fond of the boy. It's amazing to me that the kid is only 14 months old and has girlfriends all over the country!!! We played Nicole's team this past weekend in Statesboro. We ended up finishing 2nd place, 2 wins and a loss. Noah did pretty well, he didnt last very long on mommy's lap though. Obviously he wanted to get down and run around. He spent alot of time in the stroller and ended up taking a couple naps. Posted by Picasa

Busy Busy Busy!!!

Sorry to our regular bloggers! We've been really busy lately! Josh has had practice every night and Annie has been busy with babysitting, pictures, and piano lessons. Which reminds me of a funny story.

The other night I went to take a picture of the exterior of a house. Well, I kept driving past the house I was suppose to take the picture of because it didnt have any numbers on the house or the mail box. So by the time I figured that was the house, I had driven by it like 3 or 4 times. Well, I took a couple of shots and was about to drive away when the lady (who was peeking out of her window) of the house comes running out screaming, "EXCUSE ME!!!!! EXCUSE ME!!!!!!" I politely FLOORED the gas and took off. Well, I dont know what happened after that but I looked in my rear view mirror and she had ran to her truck and was going to try to follow me. Luckily, I got away. We are not allowed to talk to the homeowners. We are not to have ANY contact with them. If we do, we are fired. I'm not really sure why though. The only thing I can come up with, is their house is about to be foreclosed or something.....maybe not. Anyway, I was shaking for like an hour after it happened....why? I dont really know, I guess down deep I thought she was going to catch me or something. Whatever, turned out to be a funny story.

We went on campus yesterday for a Welcome picnic. It was fun. Ate some bbq. There was a band there and a bunch of people were swing'n. It looked like SO much fun! I have to have the girls teach me how to do it. Did I mention that Mr Belding from saved by the bell was at Campbell for opening services? I guess he is a motivational speaker now. All the kids were wearing shirts that said "I <3 Mr. Belding". I wanted one...

We leave for our first tournament this weekend. Actually tomorrow. We are driving to Statesboro, GA. Then next week, it is DC. I will keep you updated and hopefully will have pics. So, talk to you then!

This Little Light of Mine!

Watch the Video
Well, this isnt the best video of him singing his favorite song, but it's the best I could get! I will keep trying. I want to do my best to get most of his tricks on here. He has a new one: we say "March Noah, March!" and he marches in place. It's really funny. Anyway. ENJOY!!!!

Tonight

Well, tonight was a little better. Notice that Noah is NOT looking at the camera OR smiling! I had on Sesame Street behind me. He was locked in! Anyway, we ate dinner with daddy, came home, played for a little, had a little photo shoot, then it was bed time. Garage saling tomorrow, so I will be up early, but Noah will enjoy the time with daddy (if he even gets up :-) Posted by Picasa

Our night last night!

Perfect time for a shot with the shades!!!

Uh oh.....somebody is ready for bed!

I think I'll call this, "Sweet comfort from the faithful source"

Must Hate Dogs!

Okay, I dont know what my deal is, but the past two nights I have taken Noah on a bike ride, and both nights we have been chased by dogs! I get so freaked out! Not at the little ones, the medium to HUGE ones!!! People in my neighboorhood, if you are reading this, PLEASE put your dogs away! Or at least tie them up so they dont come out to feast on me and my baby!!!!!

Anyway, I have started babysitting. Yesterday was our first day, and it went pretty smoothly. I babysit Jackson 2 1/2 and Mason 16 months. It was a day full of dirty diapers and sayings such as, "NO!", "You share!", "Say Please", "Don't Hit!", etc. I start piano lessons next week and am excited to see that up and running. Oh and not sure if I told you all or not, but I am REALLY interested in photography (that part you knew :-) and have scheduled my first senior picture session, Wedding, AND Pet session. I advertised on craigslist that I am a baby photographer but would love to fill my portfolio with different faces. These are the 3 responses I got. I hope they know what they are getting themselves into.........pray for me :-)

Josh has been working day and night with practices and meetings. He leaves at 7:30 and comes home at 9:30. Sort of sad when the baby doesnt wake up til 8 and goes to bed at 8:30. But, the coach made it possible for Noah and I to join the team on campus for dinner (thanks Malinda!), which has been a huge blessing!

Well, one of the three just woke up from their nap. Better run! I needed a good doggie vent :-)

$2.83

THAT is what I paid for Gas yesterday. I never thought I would see the day, where I was actually excited that I paid under $3.00 for a gallon of gas, but alas, that day is here! Noah and I went to SAMS last night to pick up some crucial items (aka diapers and wipes!) and that is where I got it. What is gas where you are? I hear it tends to be a little cheaper in the south, but I have been to IN where it is 2-3 cents cheaper. Anyway, that was a little sunshine in my day, that I thought I would share. Sad, I know.
