Let's Go Feed a Goat! (sung to the tune of Let's go fly a kite)

We spent the past weekend with my Aunt Dianne and her family in Ft. Meyers. It was nice to spend the holiday with family and with Josh being gone, it was nice not to be alone! On Saturday we went over to Keith's house and played with the kids and the goats. Noah LOVED playing with all the kids over there! He loved even more feeding the goats. I thought he would be scared, but obviously by the looks of the pictures, he proved me wrong. Jacob even got to give them some nibbles. He wasn't too fond of them. He preferred Aunt Dianne's lap. We had a great time!

Time for a haircut!

The Before Shot......yes it was time, and Yes Suzanne, he doesn't have a shirt on ;-)
Where did my 2 year old go?

Not horrible for a squirmy worm!

Well, with Easter being so close, I wanted to cut Noah's hair. I cut Josh's hair last week, trimmed up Jacob's a little bit, and then attempted to attack Noah's shag tonight. For some reason, I can't seem to find any time to get MY hair cut, but that's ok, maybe I can get it cut next week sometime. Josh leaves in the morning for Atlanta for a recruiting trip. He will be gone until Sunday, so we are going on a roadtrip to Ft Meyers to see my Aunt Dianne and her family! Hopefully we'll get some nice Easter shots, minus our daddy....

The BEACH!!!!!!

They played so good together! One kept wanting to EAT the sand and the other one kept wanting to THROW the sand. I will let you decide who wanted to do what!

He wouldn't look at me, but I love how his hair is blowing in the wind!

Poor Jacob and his Thin hair. I had to spray sunblock all over his head!

They both finally knocked out!

I LOVE being their mommy!!!!!!

Peek A Boo!

Did you hear, I got the best mommy of the day award!!!

I found this GREAT deal on a Thomas the Train bed WITH the thomas comforter, sheets, and pillow case off of course, CRAIGSLIST! Since Noah is completely OBSESSED with Thomas lately, I thought he would enjoy it. We are selling his car bed because he loves his new bed!!!! He went with me to pick it up and kept saying, "Tommy, Bed! Tommy Bed! Tommy Bed!" For some reason he calls Thomas, Tommy. Seriously ALL day he was saying it. When we got home he was telling daddy over and over and finally daddy went and got the bed out of the van and put it together. Noah was SOOO excited!

Some Pics and Comments about the house

The view of the house from the road. Not bad for being almost 100 years old!

The front porch, AFTER all the dog hair was swept out. (Thank you very much Dad Hill)

How can you not love doing laundry with these bad boys!!!

Yes, we are renting. We were fortunate enough to get a campus house which is literally 1 minute walking distance to campus. Things are coming along and we are feeling more and more settled in the new place. My next project is the boy's room and play room. I just finished going through all their clothes, but pictures and decor need to be hung, so who knows, maybe there will be pictures later on of that.

A Proud Mommy Moment....

This was at dinner the other night. He can see a letter and say what it is. This round was a little rough, but he is getting better.
