Home Sweet Home
The trip here was pretty uneventful. Took 11 hours in all which isnt bad considering you are driving a 20 ft. truck and a 8 month old. Noah did so well. Not a peep. Now myself on the other hand had eaten a bad taco salad for lunch and we had to make a stop. Unfortunately we were in the middle of no where. Josh pulled off on the next available exit and I got out and made a bee-line for the woods. I didnt have a choice, and that taco salad wouldn't stay put so I had to act fast. Ah, ya got to love nature! Good news, I'm okay now. But won't be going to any Hardees any time soon! We got a storage facility here to put all our stuff in and Josh and I just got back from returning the truck. We've been relaxing the past couple of days and yes, I have found the mall.....all 3 floors of it (hmm, whatever will Noah and I do during the day? :-)
Josh starts on Monday and is excited. His first trip is in 2 weeks and is actually a tournament in Indy where he will be recruiting at the mid-east regionals. Of course I couldnt let him go to Indy without me, so Noah and I are going too. Josh is staying for the weekend and Noah and I will be staying a whole week. (Yeah! We are SOO excited!)
More later. Dinner Time! Love you!

February Already??
Let's see, what shall I say. Oh I think I will write about what we did in MI. Noah and I just got back on Sunday from Holly, MI. It was fun! We saw lots of family, friends, and of course shopping! I think I went to the mall almost every day! Fun! Noah brought back a cold with him so he's been dealing with that. He's still the happy-go-lucky kid he always is, but with a runny nose.....who knows, maybe he is teething. No fever, just a yucky nose.....
Noah has started to talk a little. I got it on video with him crawling so I will put that on when I get home. I have been babysitting this week for Riley again. I missed that little girl. It's been fun. She isnt so sure about Noah. She likes him when he is in the exersaucer, but as soon as he lets loose, he makes a bee-line for her. Maybe she is scared. He is pretty intimidating. Riley reminds me of a kitten, precious, fragile, beautiful and very smart......my boy reminds me of a puppy. Easily distracted, cute, smart, but has to learn the hard way......you know, "....maybe if I climb up T.V. stand THIS time, I won't hit my head from falling....." He'll learn. His new love is Cheerios! He mauls them! No teeth yet but hopefully soon.
Got a call a couple days ago..........Yep! We are going to interview at Campbell University this weekend. We are leaving tomorrow (Thursday) and will be coming back next Tuesday. The nice thing is, Josh's parents live a little over an hour away, so we will get to spend some time with them. And they will get to see Noah. I will keep you posted on how things go!!! Thanks for the prayers!!!!
This is a picture of Gavin Dobbertin and Noah. Gavin's mommy Suzanne and I use to play t-ball together when we were 'wee' ones. I am so thankful for technology. We got back into contact only through the internet. How cool!!! Anyway, they have a lot in common just like his mommy and I. Hopefully they'll be buds just like us!
Family in Bradenton
This is a picture of some of our family members who live in FL. A couple of weeks ago, Josh had a tourney in Orlando so Noah and I hopped in the van and took off for Bradenton. Wasn't a bad drive, about 2 hours, maybe a little more, and Noah slept the whole way. We got to visit with my grandparents from Traverse City, MI who are staying in FL til April. We had a great time playing games and eating with family! I am sure we will make it down there again soon before we leave...
We have entered the no-no stage with Noah. Forget about those toys, he wants to pull up on
EVERYTHING!!!!!!
It seems like everything he does, we have to tell him no-no......The problem with naming your son "NOAH" is, it starts with the word NO. So instead of saying NO, we are starting to say Noah, STOP! It's hard but we are trying. I guess with a lot of kids, they mistake their name for NO because that's all they hear for about the first year of their life. Hmmm.......
