What did you do with your Varsity Jacket?
Aww....isn't he cute.....Okay, Josh and I have been cleaning house. We have 5 huge bags of clothes to take to Goodwill, actually BACK to Goodwill seeing as that is where we got most of them, and have been cleaning out the storage closet outside. We came across my old Varsity Jacket. Josh had to put it on to see what it felt like to wear one (tee hee). The sad thing is, it fit him perfectly, which means, it was either HUGE on me in high school, or I was quite Large....I will let you be the judge :-) Anyway, what do we do with it? What did you do with yours? My parents kept theirs, and I remember wearing their's for Spirit week or something....Anyway, just wondering what ya'll did with your jackets. I did suggest to Josh that we get it framed and we could hang it on our wall above the piano, which I thought was an EXCELLENT idea..... he wasn't up for it :-)

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!
This is an early birthday present from my mom and dad for Noah. He LOVES his sandbox. We are now working on keeping the sand INSIDE the box....we'll get better, I hope.
The Park
We spent some time today at a local park in Raleigh. It was great! Noah and daddy rode the carousel and Noah got to play on the fun toys. It was hot, so we all enjoyed a big slushie to end the day. More Pictures HERE

Just hanging out....
Hey momma!
The Thinker..
This picture makes me laugh because about 2 seconds after I took it, Noah pushed Jacob away, like "I'm Done! Take him off of me!"
Just another great Noah picture!

1. I have to sleep with covers on me. Doesnt matter if I am in a house that is 90 degrees. I have to have SOMETHING over me.
2. Usually at least 3 times a week I am found out on my deck with my radio, phone, water bottle and spray bottle (during nap time of course!)
3. I can sing with my mouth closed. Comes in handy when you give an exam that is suppose to last 2 hours and everybody is done within the half hour.
4. My husband's past time is buying and selling cars.
5. I own all 10 seasons of FRIENDS and the first 5 seasons of 24.
6. I am pretty sure that I am addicted to chips and salsa.
7. I am the oldest of 6 children and have a little sister who just turned 12.
8. I could have played softball for Michigan State but chose to attend Bob Jones (and glad I did!)

Paddleboatin'
We were able to spend some special time with friends this past weekend. We drove to Brevard for my friend Rachel's wedding. It was a beautiful ceremony. We stayed with our friends, Tim and Cherie Meals, and their 3 kids. Noah LOVED every minute of it. The Meals have the wonderful opportunity of living on The Wilds campus, so we got to enjoy the many ammentities available. Of course, there is only so much you can do with a almost 2 year old and 1 month old, but we did get to go out on the lake in the paddleboats. Noah liked to splash his feet in the water, thanks to Marleigh for showing him how! We enjoyed the relaxation and Josh enjoyed winning Settlers the last night we were there :-) Thanks Meals! We love you!
Strawberry Pickin'
On Saturday we ventured out and took all the kids strawberry picking. They were SOOO yummy. Noah was a little reluctant at first, but after mommy shoved a strawberry in his mouth and he got a taste of the sweetness, it was over! He was picking up berries off of the ground and popping them in his mouth. He would take a strawberry out of my basket, take one bite, and then put it back. He was a MESS after it was all over, but we had a great time nonetheless. The berries were so sweet and I think there was more our bellies, then the baskets :-).....

The Hair
Noah desperately needs a haircut. Last night Josh slicked it all back and he looked hilarious! We are trying to hold off cutting the locks til we see our friend Deanne in June. She would do a better job than mommy and mommy can help to hold the boy down. The last picture is my favorite.
