Some Pics and Comments about the house

The view of the house from the road. Not bad for being almost 100 years old!

The front porch, AFTER all the dog hair was swept out. (Thank you very much Dad Hill)

How can you not love doing laundry with these bad boys!!!

Yes, we are renting. We were fortunate enough to get a campus house which is literally 1 minute walking distance to campus. Things are coming along and we are feeling more and more settled in the new place. My next project is the boy's room and play room. I just finished going through all their clothes, but pictures and decor need to be hung, so who knows, maybe there will be pictures later on of that.

Looks like it is pretty good size?! Old houses have so many unique traits and potential. I love the porch. And how cool to have a palm tree in your yard!!!

You have such a nice looking house. I'm sure you have driven around and seen all the beautiful old houses in that area. If we ever move back to LKLD, we would look in the historic district because those houses are the most unique and so pretty.
What kind of grapefruit do you have, white or pink?
Lake Morton is a great place to take the boys to feed the ducks. And the public library is on that same lake, I think they do story time there too.
good luck settling in.
