Jacob has something important to say....

Jacob has become so vocal lately. He only knows one word, but he says it ALL the time! Actually he "tries" to say momma when he pats his mouth like an Indian. But it just sounds like an indian. Oh well. Jacob is 9 months old and is eating like a horse! He eats 3 jars of baby food and nurses 4 times a day. He can stand all by himself and is starting to brave it when he goes from couch to couch. I think that walking is right around the corner.

Oh, it's not official yet, but stay tuned for some BIG news!!!!! Hopefully I can post it soon. No, I am not pregnant =)

Enjoy the video.

Any other mothers have this problem???

Good job Momma!

Noah is my little encourager! He was so funny!

He got a little tied up!

Holy Cow it's January 20th!!!!!

YES! We are alive and well! Wow, I can't believe I haven't posted since December 12th! Shame on me. I think that' the longest blog lul I have ever had! Whew! Where to start. Well, for Christmas this year we drove up to Greensboro the weekend before Christmas and had a wonderful time with Josh's family. We woke up Christmas morning and it was so much fun watching the boys play with their toys that "Santa" brought! Noah had a Little People Christmas! I found a GREAT deal on craigslist for about 7 sets of little people sets. The farm, the zoo, the carnival, the park, the school, the garage, and the racing set. He loved them! The day after Christmas we left Greensboro for Bolingbrook, Il. It was about a 14 hour drive from NC to IL. The boys did phenominal!!!! We stopped for breakfast, lunch, and dinner which also coincided with our gas and diaper changes and we made great time! Thank the Lord for portable TV's! We decided to put Jacob in his big boy car seat so he could see everything. We weren't sure how he would do, but he did great! He slept in it and loved to look out the window. We got into Bolingbrook at around 10:00 or so. We spent about a week with my family there. We all got aquainted with my new nephew Landon. Jacob loved to play with all of Landon's toys. He's a cutie! It was so nice to be around family and just hang out. We left Bolingbrook on Wednesday and headed down to Lafayette, IN to see some friends. Many of our friends there were out of town, but we did get to stay with Clayton and Deanne and Harrison and visit. It was nice just to visit and not feel rushed. Besides that, it was soooo cold. We left Friday to head home. All in all it was a good trip. Of course we all ended up getting sick. I was the first, then Josh, then Jacob, and then the day we left for home, Noah got it. Just the runny nose, stuffy sick. Although that's not fun especially when you are little.

Jacob's had a low grade fever for about 3 days now and I have finally figured out why. The poor little guy has 2 more teeth coming in. This makes 6 total! He's chewing on everything and only wants his momma! He has started eating some table food and drinking out of a cup. No, not a sippy cup, a REGULAR cup!!! I am still nursing him and he wants nothing to do with a bottle or a sippy, so this is the only way he will drink anything! He is still pulling up on everything and is cruising from couch to couch but hasn't taken any steps yet. He will stand by himself for a couple seconds and LOVES his new shoes.

Noah has been going POTTY!!!!!!! Wooooo hoooo!! I seriously never thought this day would come! The funny thing was, it was all his idea. He said, Poo Poo momma, so I put him on the potty and he went! I was jumping up and down and screaming! (I was a little excited) He has gone everyday since Thursday. Now, he does still go in his diaper but hey at least it's a step. I know we are starting a Looooong journey, but I am very thankful we are at least starting it!

Noah is also talking alot. He will come in the bathroom while I am getting ready and say, "What doing, momma?" and when he walks in, I say, "Hey Noah!" he says, "Hi! Momma!" ohh I love it! He tries to comunicate more and more each day. He is still at that stage where he says a word, we have no idea what he is saying, he repeats it 20 times, and we still have no idea. And as you know, that can be frustrating for both the parents and the 2 year old, but it is getting better.

Whew, okay, that's it from us! I do have a few videos to post and way more pictures from Christmas!!! Honestly I haven't even put them on the computer yet!
