Whew, we made it.

Daddy and Jacob on the plane to Orlando
Flying home. Something to do with a 2 year old on an hour and a half flight =)
We went to Emily's house for Breakfast on Saturday morning.
Cousin Katie brought her volleyball team to come and see us!!!
Jacob fell in love with his 2nd cousin Jackie!
He was suppose to be sleeping!
Didn't take long for him to fall asleep.

Here are a few of the pictures from this past weekend. All in all it was a good time. Traveling is so hard on little ones, but our boys did very well. When you are with the team, you are on the team's schedule, so sometimes naps are taken on the road, or in the stroller, or in mommy's arms. Noah is learning where his boundaries are during games. He just sits by me, reads his book, or eats his popcorn. Ocasionally he will want to go to the end of the row we are sitting on, but for the most part he watches the game. All the parents have fallen in love with Jacob, so getting somebody to hold him is not a problem. The team played 2 matches. We lost both games, but played hard. This week we are going to Charleston. Kara is getting married!!!!! We'll be there for a while, daddy has a game on Sat, so he is coming and leaving on Friday. Exciting times are ahead! Pray it doesn't rain. Kara's ceremony is outside in downtown Charleston. Right now, the weather isn't looking good....Pray.

Leaving on a jet plane...

Just some recent pictures of the boys to get you through the day =) just kidding. We are leaving tomorrow for Orlando. Our team is playing Stetson University on Friday night and Florida Gulf Coast on Saturday night. Should be a fun trip! Especially since I won't have to wrestle the boys by myself on the plane! Eek..not looking forward to the plane ride. Hopefully they will both sleep.

Not much else has been going on lately. Just been haning out at home recently and enjoying home matches. We'll let you know how we do when we get back!

Wedding....

A guy called me a couple weeks ago and asked if I could shoot his wedding on Sunday (3 days from the day he called me). He said his photographer bailed and saw my ad on craigslist and wanted to know if I was interested. It was a beautiful day and the couple got married at the Tosca restaurant in downtown Durham. It was a pleasure to shoot their wedding. They were so happy! I haven't been super busy with photo shoots, but I have had a few in the past couple weeks. My only advertisement is on craigslist and it's FREE! Already I have gotten emails about weddings in the spring. I am surprised how fast the calendar is filling up! Anyway, enjoy the video, they were so cute!

Oh, Suzanne, Forgive me for not showing you the pictures first! I don't know what I was thinking!!!!!

Talking and Some Raspberries...

After Nap!

Despite the rude awakening Jacob had from his nap this afternoon (big brother decided it was time to barge in the room, and turn on a video). Jacob was so happy when I went to get him! It's so great to be able to see him respond when we talk to him and when he sees our face. We sure do love this little guy!

Go Diego Ball Pit!

Thanks to Craigslist, Noah got a new ball pit. GREAT DEAL mommy just couldn't pass up. We've been looking for a ball pit for him that doesn't take up so much room. He absolutely LOVES it! I am still trying to get used to his hair. It's amazing how different he looks to me. Such a big boy! What happened to my baby?!

How'd He do that?

The kid is 4 months old, yet he can take his own clothes off? I went in to get the little guy this morning, and this is how I found him. Actually, this is the second time this had happened! Weird!

Guess What!

We finally took the plunge and got the razor to Noah's head. We went to a game on Tuesday night and Noah's whole head was soaked with sweat. Poor Baby! He didn't like the buzzers, but daddy held him, so it was all good. Of course he looks about 5 years old now, but oh well. We measured him today. He weighs 37 lbs. and he has grown 3 1/2 inches in the last 6 months.

Who do they look like?

Boys will be boys....

Noah wanted to take a nap in "momma's bed", so I decided to let him, and when I went in to check on him a few minutes later, this is what I found....nice.

Four Months Already?

I can hardly believe it, but we just got back from Jacob's 4 month checkup! The little guy is 17 1/2 lbs., and 25 1/2 in. long. He's in the 90 percentile of weight, 75 percentile of height, and 50 percentile of head circumference. Basically, he's tall, fat, and has a small head... ha ha. just kidding. He is doing great! Lately he's been pulling everything to his mouth. He gets so excited when he sees a toy, and grabs at it. When you do rasberries, he mimics and does rasberries too. It's too cute and he actually did it for the doctor today. They took his picture with his doctor today to use in the local paper for advertisement for the office, so we'll be looking forward to seeing those soon! It's so neat to compare my two boys to each other. I love blogger! I got a picture of Noah right after his 4 month checkup, you can see the earlier post here.
