We just got back from Bredenton, so stay tuned for pictures. Noah and I are going to Michigan on Friday to stay 9 whole days! Wow! It was only $53 each way. You may want to look at the deals SPIRIT has. Some trips are only $33.....just thought I'd throw a little promo in!

In a Movie Mood

Sorry, I guess I have just been in a video mode lately. Noah was pulling up on everything last night! It's usually just Noah and I here at night lately and I would rather video him than watch TV the whole time.....you know how it is.

So, Josh got a call yesterday from a coach in NC. Campbell University in Raleigh. Yep! That's right! The Campbell Camels! We havent been offered a job or anything. She said she would be calling next week to set up an interview...hey, any interview is good in my eyes.

Josh is leaving for a tournament in Orlando with the Gainesville Juniors. I am not sure if I posted this or not but he is a coach for the club here in town. Good news is, IT PAYS....Bad news is, He has practice from 8-10 at night and tournaments every other weekend. But again, IT PAYS..... So, while he is in Orlando, Noah and I are going to go down to Bradenton to visit my grandparents who have migrated south for the winter. We'll be there all weekend and I am anticipating a wonderful time. They havent seen Noah since Thanksgiving, so it will be fun to show them all his new tricks.

Noah and I have been sick the past couple of days but are feeling much better today. We even got out of our jammies and went to the grocery store. We were really feeling like poo. Josh is starting to get it now so hopefully he will be okay for his trip.

Well, that's all from me. I will be sure to post how the interview goes... We shall see.....

Love you all!

UH-OH!!!!!

Yes, this is my 6 month old and NO, I did not set him up like that. I was downstairs cleaning and I heard Noah in the monitor. He wasnt crying or anything just making some noises. I figured he would be okay while I finished up. Well, I go upstairs only to find him standing there smiling at me. It seems he has figured out how to pull his little body up and hold onto things. I had to capture this on camera b/c I knew Josh wouldnt believe me......

Last night was the volleyball banquet. It was very nice. I should have gotten a picture of Josh because he looked really good (and I am not just saying that because I'm his wife!). Anyway, it was a nice send off for Arlisa (who took a head coaching job at Georgetown) and a wonderful capoff of the season.

Mary advised Josh the other day that he might want to think about getting a full time job until something opens up. So, he filled out a couple applications today for Starbucks. It looks pretty promising but we'll see what happens. He's stopping by the couple locations we have here in Gainesville to see if they have any openings. He is working with the local Juniors volleyball team. They practice 8-10 Monday, Tues, and Thurs....and have tournaments every other weekend. Luckily for us, one of those tournaments is in INDY....so Deanne, if you are reading this, we'll need a place to stay :-)

Living in Limbo is hard but we are becoming stronger because of it. Our marriage is stronger. It HAS to be, because we have no one else to lean on. I've also come to the realization that our time with Noah, is so precious. He seriously changes EVERY day! I am so thankful I have been at home with him to witness all his happenings. I am also thankful that we are in God's will. We look back and see how God had his perfect hand in every situation. WOW!

On another note: Noah and I are fighting colds.....I feel bad for the little guy because he loves to sleep with his pacifier but his nose is so clogged he cant breathe when it's in his mouth.....last night was rough but we made it through. He slept on my chest for a little bit. I sat there and just watched him sleep. I remember when he was only 2 days old and that is where he stayed all night......he was so tiny.

okay, it's late...need to pop in my Benadryl and fall fast asleep.....

Silly Grandma

This is a funny video of Noah up past his bedtime. It seems that the little guy will laugh at anything. What you dont see is grandma, my mother, jumping up and down making him cackle. (I didnt think she would like it if I got her on video).

Enjoy!

Rub a Dub

I thought this picture was funny. Noah just got a new bath time ducky. He LOVES it! Mommy and Daddy love it too. We can just put him in it and he plays and plays. It's so nice.

Currently we are watching Barney. I am trying to keep the little guy rested up and his tummy full because we are going to get his 6 month pictures taken TODAY as soon as Daddy gets home from his meeting.. I sure hope he smiles.

The weather in Gainesville is absolutely gorgeous! We had our window opened last night because it was so warm. I think I can handle Florida in the fall and winter. Shorts, T-shirts, flip flops.....sigh.....yeah, I know I can handle that.

Nothing happening yet on the job side of things. Keep praying, every contact we make they say something like, the wheels are turning, you should hear from us next week......The waiting game. We became experts at that game waiting for little Noah to be born. Hopefully I will be posting soon where we will be going. It pretty much looks like we could be anywhere from Michigan to Florida and all that is in between.....yea, I know that doesnt tell ya much, but that is all we know as of now. Thanks for all the prayers! Keep them up!

WHEW!!!!!!! We are finally home!

Here are some pictures of the past couple days.........

This is Josh's dad's '53 Chevy (it's for sale by the way if anybody is interested) We began our trip in North Carolina...

Then we met some of our "Indiana friends" in Myrtle Beach. This is The Campbell girls, Rachelle Jones, Caroline (my sis) and Noah of course.

Then my parents came down and met us in Myrtle. It was so nice to spend some time with them. Especially over the holidays.......

After Myrtle, we drove to Summerville, SC to spend a couple of days with Josh's uncle John, aunt Nancy, and Lindy and Kaylee. This is Kaylee holding Noah at the light show on James Island......very cool!

Then, we met my roomate from college for lunch. This is Julia Ebert. She is married to Olaf Ebert who also graduated from Bob Jones. We were roomates when we were both freshman. She is a big time lawyer in Charleston now........

Well, that was about it. We had a WONDEFUL time seeing everybody! We sure are glad to be at home now. Josh is job hunting so hopefully he will have some interviews lined up here pretty soon. Noah did well traveling. He is now officially sick of his car seat though. Oh, we had to go out and buy him the next size up car seat. The poor baby's feet was hanging over the other one. He sure is growing up too quick! If you would like to see more pictures of our Christmas adventures, you can go onto our photo website which is www.joshannienoahhill.photosite.com OR there is a link on the right side of our blog......

Okay, that is all from me. More later.....so much to tell!
